On behalf of the QLD Chapter team I would like to express my appreciation to all who attended the recent end of year event. We were encouraged by the great turnout of members and friends interested in AusTTA – the leading member association for Transformational leaders in Australia. Heidi Beets challenged us during her presentation on the “The Alchemy of Transformation”. For those who were not able to make the event, here is the link to her presentation.
With the end of year fast approaching, on behalf of the AusTTA QLD Chapter Committee, I want to offer our best wishes to you, your family and friends, as we all gather to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with those close to us. I would also like to offer my appreciation to the AusTTA Chapter team for their support and efforts on behalf of our members. Without you this launch would not have been possible.
There is no doubt 2020 will carry memories of what’s been a quite extraordinary year; one that we all hope doesn’t confront us again. Having said that, the highlight of the year has seen us establish the QLD Chapter and have such a positive response from the business community to support the two events held during the year. During the COVID-19 pandemic we were able to build relationships and see the QLD Chapter membership grow significantly. Our last event highlighted the amazing community of transformation professionals we have the privilege of serving. It is this community we seek to grow and serve in 2021.
We have 229 members in the AusTTA LinkedIn group from QLD and over 2400 nationally. We are keen to connect with these group members to become members of the Association and to be a part of the journey that shapes Transformation Professionals and Leaders in QLD and indeed throughout Australia.
We are looking forward to providing a diverse mix of new opportunities for the membership in 2021. This will include introducing a range of speakers and guests who have significant national and international profiles to our various events. We are planning three different event formats in 2021. The first of these formats will be held in February 2021 and will take the form of a Members +1 dinner, with a guest speaker. This will provide a forum for members to connect with one another and grow the community of members. The Member +1 dinners will be followed by our next Major Event with another exciting guest speaker (3 planned for the year) and is open to members and non-members. For our third event we will commence a series of Transformation Round Tables to be hosted around SEQ by corporate partners. The focus of these events is to enable us to connect with our corporate partners, their employees and customers who may be impacted or have an interest in Transformation.
On behalf of the Committee, and our Board, we all thank you for your support of AusTTA this year – your support has made such a big difference to launching and shaping AusTTA in QLD. We are looking forward to connecting and having you participate in our journey to shape AusTTA in 2021. Have a wonderful Christmas season, stay safe and we look forward to a great 2021.
President, AusTTA QLD Chapter.
